2024 Black River Trail Classic

Congratulations!

First of all, congratulations to everyone that participated in the Black River Trail Classic! I hope everyone enjoyed the course they ran and had a memorable experience in one of Wisconsin's largest state forests. I'm humbled to have the opportunity to bring you all together to, hopefully, enjoy the beautiful and challenging terrain the forest has to offer. We had some incredible weather for the race with warm temps and sunny skies. It was an idyllic fall day in the Black River State forest!

Third Time's a Charm!

Huge shout out to Becca for absolutely crushing the 85k this year! It was very impressive to see her determination and attitude all day long. First time 85k finisher Matt Jungers destroyed the course record by an hour! To the rest of the 85kers, thanks for joining me when the moon was bright and stars were plenty. It was a beautiful morning and day to see the largest group of 85k finishers to date.

PCT to BRTC

Did you know 2 of our 50k finishers also just recently completed the entire Pacific Crest Trail? That is one of the many stories I was lucky enough to hear about on race day. I'm so grateful to share the day with so many amazing people!

8 Times Strong

This was our 8th year in the forest and this was Rachael's 8th time finishing the 25k! Incredible!!

New Faces

I was so happy to see so many new people in the forest for the 10k. I loved hearing people tell me it was their first ever trail run or first ever 10k, for that matter.
