2023 Black River Trail Classic

We're only a few days away from the 2023 Black River Trail Classic! Here are some highlights of the important things you should know about. I hope your fall has gotten off to an amazing start and I'm looking forward to seeing you in the forest this weekend!

So far the weather is looking pretty good with perfect fall temperatures. It should be a great day in the forest!
Race Guide π
Please make sure you've read and memorized the race guide. If you haven't yet, you can download it now. A quick note to 85k runners. The Start/Finish is an aid station for you after the first 10k and the Millston Aid Station at 11ish miles will be open when you arrive.

Cupless π«π₯€
There are no cups at the aid stations. Please remember to bring something to hold liquids. Until we get more nurun co. cups this is a great option.
Parking π ΏοΈ
There should be plenty of room in the Smrekar lot. You can use the middle of the lot, not just the perimeter. Here's a map that allows you to enter your starting point and then get directions to the parking lot. Refer to the race guide for more parking details.
Forest Roads ππΈπ²
Please be alert for runners crossing roads and try to have all 4 tires off of the road when parking in the forest.
Area Maps and Driving Directions in the Forest
I recommend downloading the map of Black River State Forest to your phone. Service is often spotty at best in the forest. Here are instructions for Google Maps.

Registration is open through Wednesday October 18th.
