So far the weather is looking pretty good with perfect fall temperatures. It should be a great day in the forest!
Make this your daily reader for the next few days! My hope is that the race guide has everything you need to give yourself the best chances of a successful race day. If you haven't yet, you can download it now.
Race Planning and downloadable maps are available on UltraPacer.
Downloadable maps are available on Strava.
There are no cups at the aid stations. Please remember to bring something to hold liquids. Until we get more nurun co. cups, these are great options.
There should be plenty of room in the Smrekar lot. You can use the middle of the lot, not just the perimeter. Here's a map that allows you to enter your starting point and then get directions to the parking lot. Refer to the race guide for more parking details.
Please be alert for runners crossing roads and try to have all 4 tires off of the road when parking in the forest.
I recommend downloading the map of Black River State Forest to your phone. Service is often spotty at best in the forest. Here are instructions for Google Maps.
Registration is open through Wednesday October 15th.
Thanks for reading to the end! There may be another update this week. But, regardless, we'll see you on Saturday!
